Description

My client, an established and well-regarded law firm in Teesside are looking to recruit a commercial property solicitor with around 2+ years’ PQE to join their growing property team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys a varied commercial property caseload and is looking to develop their career within a supportive, collaborative environment.

The Role
The successful candidate will handle a broad range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold commercial property, as well as acting for both landlords and tenants on commercial leases. The role will also involve advising on lease renewals and variations, property finance and secured lending matters, and development-related work.

You will provide general commercial property advice to a diverse client base, including SMEs, investors, and developers, and will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload with a good level of autonomy while working closely with experienced colleagues.

The Ideal Candidate
The firm is keen to speak with solicitors with around 2+ years’ PQE in commercial property who have experience handling a broad range of transactions. You should have strong technical ability, good attention to detail, and a proactive, client-focused approach to your work.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential, along with an ambition to build long-term relationships with clients and referrers. Local market knowledge, or an interest in developing a presence in the Teesside area, would be advantageous.
