Commercial Property Solicitor
North West London Powerhouse Firm

A highly regarded and long established North West London firm is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join its growing team. Known as a true local powerhouse, the firm combines top quality work with a modern, supportive and entrepreneurial culture, offering a genuine alternative to the rigid hierarchy of larger practices.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer who wants autonomy, variety and the chance to make a visible impact within a respected and collaborative commercial property team.

The role
You will handle a broad and high quality commercial property caseload, including:
• Freehold and leasehold property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals
• Lease extensions and renewals, acting for both landlords and tenants
• Development work, site set up and full due diligence
• Financing and refinancing matters, acting for both lenders and borrowers
• Conducting title investigations, property searches and detailed due diligence
• Advising landlords, tenants, developers and investors on their legal rights and obligations
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and commercial property law
Alongside your caseload, you will build strong, long term relationships with clients and referrers, and contribute to the continued growth of the team with input into systems, strategy and service delivery.

About you
• 6+ years PQE in Commercial Property
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and client handling skills
• Experience acting for landlords, tenants, developers and lenders
• Strong communication skills and commercial awareness
• Proactive, dependable and confident in taking responsibility
• A strategic thinker who enjoys being involved beyond day to day casework

Why this firm
This role will appeal to someone who:
• Wants to escape the rigid hierarchy of larger firms without compromising on quality of work
• Enjoys variety, with no two clients or matters the same
• Is excited about building trusted, long term client relationships
• Is ready for autonomy and the opportunity to grow with a supportive, established team
• Wants to work somewhere ideas are valued and career development is genuinely prioritised

Salary and benefits
The firm offers a competitive salary structure benchmarked against local competitor law firm averages, alongside a comprehensive and flexible benefits package. This includes pension via salary sacrifice, flexible working arrangements following successful completion of the probationary period subject to department workload, and core working hours with flexibility around start and finish times based on department needs. You will also enjoy regular team social events, including monthly lunches and summer and Christmas parties.

This is a standout opportunity to join a respected firm with momentum, offering high calibre work, flexibility and a clear path for continued professional growth.
