Description

A forward-thinking law firm is looking to expand its Conveyancing Team and is open to applications from experienced Residential Conveyancers at a range of levels.

Both qualified and unqualified candidates will be considered, provided they have solid experience working as a fee earner within a busy conveyancing environment. This could be a good opportunity for someone looking for a firm where they can take ownership of their work while continuing to develop their career.

The Role You’ll manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, dealing with a variety of residential transactions including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
  • Equity release matters.
  • Plot sales.
  • Managing transactions through the full conveyancing process.
  • Advising clients and keeping them updated throughout their matter.

The successful candidate will be confident handling their own files, pragmatic in their approach and focused on delivering a high level of client service. Commercial awareness and the ability to work efficiently in a busy team will also be important.

Some experience of commercial property would be advantageous, although it isn’t essential.

About You The firm is open to candidates at different levels, so whether you are a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or an experienced unqualified Conveyancer, your application will be considered.

You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven fee-earning experience within a busy residential conveyancing team.
  • Experience handling both freehold and leasehold transactions.
  • The ability to manage a caseload independently from start to finish.
  • A pragmatic, client-focused and commercially aware approach.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to continue developing your career.
