QED Legal is working with an established regional law firm seeking a Residential Property Solicitor to join its growing property team across its North Yorkshire offices.
This opportunity offers exposure to a varied caseload of residential property matters within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will manage transactions from instruction through to completion, providing practical legal advice and maintaining high standards of client care throughout the process.
The role would suit a proactive and commercially minded solicitor looking to further develop their residential conveyancing experience within a respected regional practice.
- Manage a varied caseload of residential sales, purchases and remortgages.
- Draft and review contracts, title documentation and leasehold paperwork.
- Conduct searches and report to clients on all aspects of transactions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agents and third parties.
- Support junior team members where appropriate.
- Deliver an efficient and high-quality service throughout the transaction process.
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE in Residential Conveyancing.
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEx) or SQE qualified.
- Strong understanding of client care and professional standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and case management systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to provide practical legal advice.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
