Residential Conveyancer/ Residential Property Solicitor
Salary: Dependant on Experience (Circa £30k-£40k)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
An excellent opportunity for a conveyancer to join a respected and forward-thinking law firm. The successful candidate will be joining a team that provides practical, client-focused advice across all aspects of residential property work.
This is a fantastic role for a solicitor seeking to take ownership of a varied caseload and develop their career within a supportive, professional environment.
A little more on the position... You will manage a wide variety of residential property work, advising clients on the sale, purchase, and letting of freehold and leasehold homes. The role provides exposure to a varied client base, including buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, and residential developers, and will cover matters such as new-build transactions, right-to-buy cases, shared ownership schemes, and lease extensions.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage your own caseload of conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, leases, and related documents.
- Carry out due diligence, title investigation, and property searches.
- Advise clients on all aspects of landlord and tenant law, including lease renewals, rent reviews, and property disputes.
- Liaise with clients, agents, lenders, and other solicitors to ensure smooth progress of transactions.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, compliance, and client care throughout every matter.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (ideally 2+ years’ PQE, though all levels will be considered).
- Solid experience in conveyancing and property law.
- Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple matters simultaneously.
- A collaborative team player with a professional, solutions-focused approach.
