Description

This is a firm that is growing.

Hugely successful and well respected, both within the local area and beyond, they have built an excellent reputation for the quality of their work and the way they look after their clients.

As they continue to grow, they are now looking to add a like minded and talented Private Client Solicitor to their team.

This is a firm that genuinely believes in nurturing, supporting and developing its people and, with that in mind, they are very happy to consider someone at the beginning of their Private Client career through to a Solicitor with around 5 years’ PQE.

The role will see you manage your own caseload across the full range of Private Client matters.

For someone earlier in their career, there is a particularly good opportunity here to take real responsibility for the team’s Wills and Powers of Attorney work and make that area your own. Importantly, that doesn’t mean being pigeonholed. You’ll continue to be involved in broader and increasingly complex Private Client matters as your experience develops, giving you the opportunity to build a genuinely well rounded practice.

For someone further into their Private Client career, the role can offer more complex work, including executry matters and succession planning. Experience of succession planning for agricultural and farming clients would be particularly welcomed, reflecting the firm’s client base and the nature of the work coming into the team.

And there is real evidence of progression here. Many of the firm’s current Directors originally trained with the firm and have developed their careers from within. That probably tells you more about their approach to nurturing and developing people than any generic promise of “career progression” ever could.

If becoming STEP qualified is part of your career plan, that will be very much supported too.

It’s also simply a great place to work. There is genuine collaboration across the firm, people support one another and there is a proper work/life balance. You can build your career, do really good quality work and progress, without feeling that work has to take over everything else.

A competitive salary is offered alongside generous annual leave and support towards healthcare costs. Some hybrid working may also be available following an initial settling in period.

For someone looking for a firm where they can settle, develop and genuinely see a future, this is well worth exploring.
