Paralegal – Medical Negligence (Newcastle) Based in Newcastle | Full-time | Paralegal role in the Medical Negligence & Serious Injury team
About the team & the role Join a specialist Medical Negligence & Serious Injury team recognised regionally and nationally for high-quality work. The firm acts on everything from hospital negligence and delayed diagnosis cases to complex birth-injury and brain-injury claims.
Reporting into experienced fee-earners, you’ll support on a variety of medical negligence matters, assisting with case progression, drafting basic statements and documentation, liaising with clients, experts and counsel, managing files and diary tasks, and generally working as part of a collaborative team.

What we’re looking for
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude and strong team player who is comfortable working alongside solicitors, paralegals and wider support staff.
- Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills — you’ll be dealing with clients, experts and various stakeholders.
- Some prior exposure to medical negligence, personal injury or litigation matters is desirable, though not strictly essential — training and support will be provided.
- You’ll ideally be based in or willing to commute to Newcastle and keen to embed yourself in a growing, collaborative regional team.
