Description
An exciting opportunity exists within this long standing and respected private practice for a General Practice Solicitor to manage a mixed case load with a focus on residential conveyancing, and private client matters. You shall ideally be able to manage matters independently, however, the Partners are extremely supportive, and for those who are at the beginning of their career you shall receive excellent training, guidance and mentorship. It is anticipated you shall have a minimum of 6 months experience in either area during your traineeship.
In addition to residential conveyancing and private client work, you may also have the opportunity to work on commercial property matters such as commercial leases and landlord & tenant work.
You must be highly organised, be commercially focused and have excellent communication skills and be willing to participate in business development and networking activities.
The practice has developed long standing client relationships and prides itself on delivering exceptional service, indeed most of its business is repeat or referred. Whilst you shall have a full caseload , this is manageable and you will not be over burdened or feel you are in a churn and burn situation.
This role shall be mostly office based although there may be the option to have some hybrid working following the successful completion of a probationary period. You shall be based from Ayr and if you are looking to work more flexible hours or perhaps condensed hours this can also be taken into consideration.
You may have trained in a local firm and think in order to progress and receive a competitive salary you'll now need to move to the city, that's not the case at all. There's great scope for progression within the firm and the genuine opportunity to attain promotion within the mid term. A competitive salary is offered.
