Finance Manager – Law Firm
West London | £70,000–£80,000

 

A well-established and growing law firm in West London is looking to appoint an experienced Finance Manager to lead and develop its finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for either:

  • an existing Finance Manager within legal services, or
  • a Senior Legal Cashier ready to step into a broader leadership role.

The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day finance operations of the firm, ensuring full compliance with Solicitors Accounting Rules and supporting the wider business with financial management and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily legal accounting and cashiering operations
  • Ensuring full compliance with Solicitors Accounting Rules
  • Managing client and office accounts
  • Supervising and developing finance staff
  • Handling reconciliations, reporting, billing and financial controls
  • Liaising with Partners and external accountants where required
  • Supporting ongoing finance process improvements

Requirements

  • Strong experience within a law firm finance function
  • Excellent working knowledge of Solicitors Accounting Rules
  • Experience as either a Finance Manager, Legal Accounts Manager or Senior Legal Cashier
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident communicator with a proactive approach

Package
