Family Lawyer (Solicitor or Legal Executive) 
3+ PQE  Legal 500 & Chambers Firm

I am working with a highly regarded, multi office, multi service law firm recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners for excellence across a range of practice areas. The firm is known for its progressive approach, strong investment in technology and genuinely supportive culture.

The firm is now seeking to recruit an experienced Family Lawyer (Solicitor or Legal Executive) to join its expanding team in Barnet. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious lawyer to join a growing family department and play a key role in the continued development of the practice.

The role will involve handling a broad range of family and childcare matters, including care proceedings and PLO matters, private law children work, domestic abuse and injunctions, divorce and financial remedy matters, and general family disputes including cohabitation issues. You will manage your own caseload, undertake advocacy where appropriate, and contribute to the growth of both legal aid and privately funded work.

The firm is keen to speak with candidates who have around three years PQE or more, a solid grounding in family and childcare law, and a good understanding of legal aid. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, be confident in your technical ability, and have the drive to develop your practice and generate work. Willingness to work towards panel accreditation and to engage in networking and business development is encouraged.
