Experienced Employment Solicitor - Birmingham
We’re seeking an experienced employment lawyer to join a leading Employment practice in Birmingham. You’ll manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious work, advising major UK and international employers on issues including redundancy, disciplinary matters, grievances, whistleblowing, discrimination, and restructuring projects for example. This role also involves managing Employment Tribunal claims and supporting business development through training, client updates, and networking.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ PQE in employment law, with proven experience managing your own caseload and advising on the full range of employment issues, including equal pay matters. Strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively. Experience mentoring junior colleagues and an interest in developing client relationships will be an advantage.
