We are working with a well-established and progressive law firm in Northampton that is looking to appoint a Senior Employment Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join its thriving Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor with a strong track record in employment law and business development to step into a senior, client-facing role.
The Role
As a key member of the team, you will manage a diverse caseload covering both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Typical work will include:
- Advising clients on contracts, policies, and HR-related issues
- Handling employment tribunal claims for both Respondents and Claimants
- Providing strategic, solutions-focused advice across a wide range of sectors
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members
- Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management
About You
We’re looking for a solicitor who can demonstrate:
- A minimum of 6 years’ PQE in employment law
- Strong technical expertise across both contentious and non-contentious matters
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Confidence in managing a varied workload and contributing to team growth
