A leading Legal 500 national firm is looking for an Employment Professional Support Lawyer to join its top-tier employment team. This is a standout opportunity for an employment lawyer who loves the law but is ready to step away from time recording, billing targets and the constant juggle of fee-earning pressures.

This role puts you right at the centre of the practice. You’ll be the person who knows what’s changing, what’s coming next and how the team can stay one step ahead. From shaping and maintaining precedents, to translating legal developments into practical guidance, to delivering training that actually lands, you’ll have a real and visible impact on how the team works and the service clients receive.

If you enjoy thinking strategically, spotting patterns across cases and being the go-to person for tricky questions, a move into PSL can be a seriously smart career move. You still get to engage with complex, interesting employment law — just without the pressure to bill every minute or chase the next instruction. Instead, you’ll have the time and space to do the work properly and add value in a different, often more influential way.

The firm is open to experienced Employment PSLs or employment solicitors who are curious about making the switch. You’ll need strong technical grounding, good judgement and the confidence to work closely with partners and senior lawyers across a national practice, but you don’t need to have “PSL” on your CV already.
