At Legal Director level you would run significant client relationships and complex deals with minimal partner supervision, so the autonomy is real rather than promised. It should suit a Legal Director who wants a serious deals practice and genuine autonomy without the bureaucracy of a larger platform, or a senior associate already operating above their grade and ready to be recognised for it.
