The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant or Secretary to join a busy and friendly conveyancing team. You’ll be working closely with fee earners, providing key administrative support across a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions.
Duties include:
- Preparing and amending legal documents, including contracts, TR1s, transfer documents, and completion statements
- Handling SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
- Assisting with exchange and completion procedures
- Preparing and submitting searches via online portals such as InfoTrack
- Diary management and arranging client appointments
- Opening and closing files in accordance with firm policies
- Audio and copy typing of correspondence and legal documentation
- Raising and processing invoices
- General administrative support to the conveyancing team
You
Are you an experienced Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Secretary who thrives in a supportive and professional environment? If you’re someone who enjoys seeing transactions through from instruction to completion, then this could be your next move.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have at least a years experience in a similar conveyancing support role
- Be confident working independently and as part of a team
- Have excellent knowledge of the conveyancing process from start to finish

- Be organised and proactive with the ability to manage a busy workload
- Provide outstanding client care and professionalism at all times
