An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Administrator or Conveyancing Assistant to join a young and ambitious law firm in Oldham.
This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys a supporting role in residential conveyancing and is looking to stay in this role for a few years, rather than pursuing rapid qualification. You’ll be joining a growing firm that has quickly built an excellent local reputation and is continuing to expand its client base across Greater Manchester.

The Role As a Conveyancing Assistant / Conveyancing Administrator, you’ll work alongside experienced conveyancers to help manage a busy caseload of residential property transactions, including sales, purchases, and remortgages.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing and organising legal documentation
- Managing and updating the case management system
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
- Assisting with post-completion work and general file administration
- Supporting fee earners to ensure smooth and efficient progress of each matter
About You To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 6–12 months’ experience in a conveyancing or property law role (assistant or administrator level)
- Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
- Confident communication and client service skills
- A proactive, reliable attitude and willingness to support the wider team
- An interest in developing a long-term career in conveyancing support, without the pressure of qualification routes
