If you’re an experienced Conveyancer looking to join a thriving, stable, and highly regarded practice, this opportunity with a well-respected firm in Ringwood offers a busy caseload, strong support, and real scope to grow your career within a long-established firm.
The role has come about through the firm’s organic growth and continued success. Conveyancing is at the heart of the practice, making up over 50% of fee income, and the client base is varied, with work coming from local, regional, and City clients. The firm has been serving the community for over 200 years, with instructions arriving steadily through reputation, repeat business, and referrals - meaning there’s no heavy requirement for business development or networking.
You’ll manage your own caseload of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, registered and unregistered titles, and new build/plot work. All conveyancers have their own following, and as part of the Ringwood team you’ll be supported by experienced paralegals and assistants, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality client service.
The team has around 50 staff across the firm, including Equity and Salaried Partners, solicitors, conveyancers, paralegals, and assistants. Most fee earners are 5+ PQE and trusted to work with autonomy, though collaboration and support are central to the firm’s culture. Progression is very much available - for the right person, teams are built around individual solicitors, and there is scope to broaden into commercial property work if desired. All four current partners have made partnership since joining the firm, and there is no sense of competition - just a clear pathway for those who want it.
To succeed, you’ll need to be experienced enough to hit the ground running, confident running your own files independently, and commercially aware. An interest in the running of the business would be welcomed, as the firm values individuals who want to play a part in its ongoing success.
