Description

Commercial Property Solicitor / Legal Executive – Wells – Up to £74,000 – Hybrid – Legal 500

A well-established Legal 500 South West law firm is looking to recruit a Commercial Property Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its Property team, the role being based from their Wells office.

The successful candidate will join a respected Property practice with a strong reputation across Somerset and Dorset, advising a broad client base including local businesses, landowners, property investors and private clients. The role offers exposure to a varied caseload including Commercial and Rural Property transactions, with the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners and develop long-term client relationships.

The Firm:

This is a well-regarded regional firm in the South West, with offices across Somerset and Dorset and a strong reputation in property, private client and business law. They are known for their collaborative culture and long-standing client relationships, many of which span generations. Lawyers are encouraged to take an active role in building client relationships and contributing to the development of their practice
areas.

Benefits:

  • Salary up to £74,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working available
  • Genuine career progression within a growing team
  • Opportunity to build direct client relationships and develop your own profile
  • Supportive and collaborative firm culture

Pre-Requisites:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Experience handling Commercial Property matters
  • An interest in working closely with clients and contributing to team growth
  • Agricultural or rural property experience is beneficial but not essential

The team has undergone steady growth in recent years and there is genuine scope for the incoming lawyer to become involved in developing the client base, supervising junior colleagues and contributing to the continued growth of the department. This role would particularly suit someone looking to move into a position where they can gain greater visibility, responsibility and client contact than might be available in a larger firm environment.
