The Position
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a full-time Commercial Property Paralegal to join my client’s busy Nottingham office.
This role offers the chance to be deeply involved in a wide range of commercial property transactions, supporting a skilled team of fee earners and gaining hands-on experience across various aspects of property law.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting solicitors with commercial property acquisitions, disposals, and leasing transactions
- Drafting, reviewing, and amending contracts, leases, licences, and other property-related documents
- Conducting title investigations, reviewing Land Registry entries, and preparing title reports
- Liaising with clients, landlords, tenants, agents, lenders, and other third parties throughout transactions
- Managing case files, ensuring all documents and correspondence are accurate and up to date
- Preparing completion statements and supporting post-completion processes, including registrations and tax submissions
- Conducting due diligence and legal research for property matters
- Supporting the team with general administrative duties to maintain smooth workflow
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
Experience within a Commercial Property team or prior exposure to property law is highly desirable.
You
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- Previous paralegal experience, ideally in Commercial Property or real estate
- Strong drafting, document review, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and priorities in a busy environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal case management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, including telephone manner
- A proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach
- Relevant academic qualifications or legal training (LLB, LPC, or SQE preparation is advantageous)
