The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive to join the firm’s expanding Claimant Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence team in Coventry.
You will be working with some of the most respected claimant lawyers in the region, managing a varied and challenging caseload of Clinical Negligence matters — from initial instruction through to resolution.
Key responsibilities include:
- Handling new and ongoing Clinical Negligence claims, including litigated cases
- Liaising with clients, counsel, medical experts, and other professionals
- Drafting pleadings, instructions, and schedules of loss
- Conducting valuations and engaging in settlement negotiations
- Attending client meetings and court hearings as required
- Providing exceptional client care and maintaining regular communication throughout each case

You
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 5 years’ PQE and:
- Proven experience in Clinical Negligence, ideally on behalf of claimants
- A strong billing record and the ability to manage a busy caseload independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High standards of client care and professional integrity
- Confidence working in a target-driven, commercial environment
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- A proactive, empathetic, and detail-oriented approach
