The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant or Secretary to join a busy and friendly conveyancing team. You’ll be working closely with fee earners, providing key administrative support across a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions.
Duties include:

  • Preparing and amending legal documents, including contracts, TR1s, transfer documents, and completion statements
  • Handling SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
  • Assisting with exchange and completion procedures
  • Preparing and submitting searches via online portals such as InfoTrack
  • Diary management and arranging client appointments
  • Opening and closing files in accordance with firm policies
  • Audio and copy typing of correspondence and legal documentation
  • Raising and processing invoices
  • General administrative support to the conveyancing team

You
