Having never worked with a recruitment specialist before I was somewhat nervous and sceptical. I contacted Deborah through LinkedIn having seen her posts regarding recruitment opportunities in my area. She was quick to respond, asking for my CV and then setting up an initial phone call. I figured this would be the part where I said what I was looking for and she would say “I’ll be in touch”. But no. Deborah spent time talking to me about what I was looking for and actually helped me realise which area of law I wanted to continue working in (I had experience in two). My first interview was nerve racking to say the least (it had been a while…!) but Deborah rang me the day before, talking me through things and then a phone call the morning of the interview for a last minute pep talk. She really made me feel confident and although I didn’t accept the first job at least I was offered it! I am now in a position that I love with a firm I’m extremely happy with. None of this would have happened without Deborah and I’m extremely grateful to her. She continues to keep in touch weeks and months after finding me the position which in my view, shows her passion for her work. Not just finding any old job but finding THE job.
