Toby Williamson
Toby qualified as a Solicitor in 1997 after completing a training contract with leading Legal 500 regional practice KBL. In 1999 he made the step into legal recruitment as the founding Partner of G2 Legal, which he built into the largest regional legal recruitment business in the UK. He has trained up over 100 legal recruitment consultants and has run and managed teams in multiple geographical locations. In addition to recruiting lawyers from partner level down Toby has taken the lead role in presentations and pitches to secure preferred supplier status for his company with law firms.
Neil Campbell
Neil joined QED Legal in 2013 having spent a successful 6 years with a national legal recruitment company. He is very well known and respected in the Scottish market and also undertakes assignments for clients throughout the UK. His experience includes Partner and team moves, firm mergers and sales, Solicitor, fee earner and support staff recruitment at every level.
Lisa Hibbert
Lisa qualified as a Solicitor in 1997 after completing her training contract with a leading regional practice. She moved shortly after qualification to leading Legal 500 practice Stephensons where she specialised in family law. In 2006 Lisa moved to Legal 500 practice MLP as head of the family department and a Partner specialising in high net worth ancillary relief cases. She made the move into professional recruitment by establishing QED Legal in the summer of 2012.
Nick Skelly
Nick worked at a Legal 500 insurance practice for 4 years before making the move into legal recruitment at QED Legal in 2013.
His main focus is on placements of staff across the North West legal sector. He primarily deals with placements of Solicitors, Legal Executives, Fee Earners and Paralegal hires from all legal sectors throughout the North West, as well as specialising in placing Partners and Heads of Department at firms ranging from Top 100 commercial firms through to regional and rural high street firms.

Jemma Carter
Jemma has extensive recruitment experience dating back to 2005. She is well known and respected across the London, Yorkshire, North East and Midlands regions where she has placed a significant amount of lawyers from Partner level down. Her extensive network of contacts and relationships with decision makers in all sizes of law firms, in house companies and ABS’s make her an ideal recruitment partner with a wealth of market knowledge.
Deborah Collier
Deborah has worked within Legal and Professional Services recruitment in Scotland since 2002. Her experience includes recruiting all levels of fee earners from Partners to Paralegals across the full range of legal disciplines as well as legal support services, such as law accountants, office and practice managers, legal cashiers and legal secretaries.
Simon Campbell
Simon is an experienced professional recruiter with wide knowledge of recruiting specifically within the Legal Sector.
He specialises in legal recruitment across the UK, recruiting legal professionals into industry and in-house positions.
Simon strives to build long term relationships with clients, partner them so that they trust QED Legal to represent their brand accurately and effectively to prospective employees. He is happy to share his insights and knowledge with clients and help to solve their business problems.
Simon has experience in recruitment dating from the mid 90’s. and also has additional experience in sales and management roles and has presented at board level to various blue chip organisations.
Beth Livings
Beth is a law graduate, who worked as a residential property lawyer before joining QED Legal in 2022. She assists all levels of fee earner and support staff with their career moves in Newcastle and across the North East.
Dominic Roberts
Dominic qualified as a Solicitor with a leading L500 firm and practiced in Corporate and Commercial Law. He then moved into an In House legal role with a household name drinks company in Scotland. He joined QED in 2022 and is focusing on the recruitment of Corporate and Commercial lawyers in London.
Amy Spark
Amy has worked in recruitment since 2011 and joined QED Legal in 2022. She supports legal professionals at all levels, from Partners and Solicitors to Legal Executives, Paralegals, and legal support staff, in advancing their careers across Leeds.
Leah Roberts
Leah has worked in legal recruitment since 2021 and joined QED Legal in 2023. She helps all levels of fee earner from Partners and Solicitor to Legal Executives and Paralegals as well as Law Costs Draftsmen and Legal support professionals with their career moves across the Northern Home Counties.
Lauren Eager
Lauren joined QED Legal in 2023 having spent 2 years recruiting technical roles in the FinTech market in the US. She specialises in assisting candidates in the Risk, Compliance and Data Protection arenas, as well as Company Secretarial professionals. Her clients include private practice law firms, In House legal teams, the financial service and banking sectors and wider industry.
Rhian Thompson
Rhian has worked within legal recruitment since 2021. She joined the team at QED Legal in 2024 to assist legal professionals from paralegal to partner level with their career moves across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Mohamed Hamza
Mohamed has worked in legal recruitment since 2023 and joined QED Legal in 2024. He concentrates on Bristol and the South West of England as his main geographical focus and assists all levels of fee earners from Partners and Solicitors to Legal Executives and Paralegals with their career moves.
Emma Hall
Emma is a graduate who joined QED as a legal recruitment consultant in 2024. She works in the Yorkshire market and assists all levels of fee earners from Partners and Solicitors to Legal Executives, Licenced Conveyancers and Paralegals with their career moves.
Chris Prendergast
Chris is a law graduate who pursued a career in professional recruitment before joining QED Legal in 2024. He assists all levels of lawyer, from Partners and Solicitors to Legal Executives and paralegals across Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire and Dorset with their career advice and moves.
Patrick McMahon
Patrick started his legal recruitment career in 2016, placing lawyers nationally within Legal 500 and International law firms. After a sabattical to fulfil an ambition to work as a chef at a 3 Michelin Star restaurant, he joined QED Legal in early 2025 to resume his legal recruitment career. He works in the North West team assisting all levels of lawyer with their career moves.

Toby started his legal recruitment career in 2023, joining a national legal recruiter, before joining QED Legal in 2025. Toby will be assisting all levels of lawyer, from Partner and Solicitor level candidates to Paralegals across the East Midlands.
