Compliance Officer – Top 100 Law Firm

We’re working with a fantastic top-100 law firm with a stellar reputation, now looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join their well-respected Risk & Compliance team. This is a great opportunity to work on high-quality work and multiple jurisdictions in a collaborative, professional environment.

The Role
You’ll have a broad and varied remit within the Risk & Compliance function, including:

• Acting as a first point of contact for compliance queries from across the firm
• Managing and responding to regulatory matters, including complaints, investigations, and data access requests
• Overseeing AML, sanctions checks, and client due diligence processes
• Reviewing and refining firm policies, procedures, and retainer documentation
• Designing and delivering engaging training sessions for both new starters and existing staff
• Leading and supporting firm-wide compliance projects, from planning through to implementation
• Maintaining key registers and ensuring accurate compliance records
• Preparing reports and assessments for internal stakeholders
• Staying on top of emerging regulatory and industry developments to keep the firm ahead of the curve

About You

• 5+ years’ experience in a Risk & Compliance role within a top-500 law firm
• Strong understanding of AML, data protection, sanctions, and SRA Code of Conduct
• Commercially minded with a proactive and solution-focused approach
