Are you an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager or Legal Compliance professional looking for a new challenge within a growing national law firm?

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead compliance role where you’ll work closely with senior partners to shape, strengthen and embed a firm-wide culture of regulatory compliance and risk management.

The Role?

As the Risk & Compliance Manager, you will support the Risk & Compliance Partner and act as a trusted adviser across the firm. You’ll ensure the business complies with all relevant SRA regulations, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), GDPR, and wider legal and regulatory obligations.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead on compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations, AML, GDPR, and other legal sector regulatory requirements
• Develop, implement and monitor risk management and compliance frameworks
• Conduct internal audits, risk assessments and compliance reviews, providing actionable recommendations
• Deliver training, guidance and advice to partners, lawyers and support staff
• Oversee client due diligence, onboarding and AML checks
• Partner with senior leadership to promote a proactive compliance culture and manage regulatory risk across the business

About You
Previous experience in a risk and compliance role within a law firm
Strong knowledge of SRA regulations, AML, and data protection
Excellent analytical, problem-solving and problem-solving skills
Proactive, detail-focused and collaborativein approach
