Description
QED Legal is working with a highly regarded UK firm seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its Property Litigation team in Glasgow.
This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ who wants to carve out a distinctive path in litigation — particularly if you’re interested in the evolving space where real estate meets infrastructure and telecoms.
The role offers a varied caseload, with a strong emphasis on telecoms work, acting for major operators in the sector. You’ll advise on complex property disputes, access and wayleave issues, and rights under the Electronic Communications Code, alongside more traditional landlord and tenant matters. It’s a technically engaging position with real commercial relevance — giving you the chance to build specialist expertise early in your career, while continuing to develop broader litigation skills.
The team is collaborative and well-supported, offering sensible hours and meaningful responsibility from day one. You’ll be encouraged to take ownership of your work and play an active role in client relationships.
The firm is widely recognised as a market leader in this sector, with a strong pipeline of high-quality work. They’re looking for someone with a solid grounding in property litigation or commercial litigation during their traineeship, and a genuine interest in developing a long-term career in this area. Prior exposure to telecoms matters would be advantageous but is by no means essential.
If you’re Glasgow-based — or planning a move — and would like to explore a role that offers both specialism and long-term progression within a forward-thinking team, we’d be delighted to speak with you.
