Description
Exciting & Rare Opportunity – Property Litigation Solicitor
Location: Newcastle (Fully Remote Initially | Hybrid 2–3 Days in Office)
PQE: NQ+
Specialism: Property Litigation (with the option to work on General Commercial Litigation)
We’re working with a well-established firm with strong roots in Devon that’s now expanding its presence in the North East. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Property Litigation Solicitor to join the team, working alongside a highly experienced Senior Associate based in Newcastle. With plans in place to open a brand-new city centre office, you’ll be joining at an exciting time of growth and development.
The Role Initially fully remote, this position will transition to a hybrid working model (2–3 days in the office) once the new Newcastle office opens. Flexible working hours are also available.
You’ll be supported by a collaborative team of lawyers and administrative staff—both remotely and on-site—and have the chance to help shape the growth of the firm’s North East presence.
While the primary focus will be Property Litigation, this role is also ideal for candidates with a broader litigation background, as there is the option to become involved in General Commercial Litigation matters.
This Role Would Suit:
- A newly qualified solicitor looking to start their litigation career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment
- An experienced litigation solicitor seeking a fresh challenge and the opportunity to be part of a growing team in Newcastle
You Will Be Involved In:
- Handling all aspects of property disputes, including boundary and neighbour disputes
- Managing claims involving defective building work
- Advising on adverse possession claims
- Acting on landlord and tenant disputes
This is a rare opportunity to be part of something new and exciting while enjoying the security and support of a well-established firm. If you're a motivated and adaptable solicitor ready to help build a new regional office, we want to hear from you.
