The Role
- Manage your own private client caseload including Wills, Trusts, LPAs and estate/trust administration
- Handle complex and high-value matters, including work for agricultural and business clients
- Draft and review legal documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
- Support departmental growth through networking, business development and relationship building
- Represent the team at events and help expand the client base
- Mentor and support junior colleagues within the department
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements
- Work towards agreed financial targets while delivering exceptional service
- Deal with client and telephone enquiries efficiently and professionally
- Collaborate effectively with support staff to ensure work is delivered to a high standard
You
- 4+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor or Legal Executive in private client work
- Ambition to be STEP-qualified (or currently working toward it / able to demonstrate equivalent technical knowledge)
- Strong client-facing skills and the ability to nurture both new and established relationships
- Confident in networking, representing the department and supporting growth
- Excellent drafting, organisational and communication skills
- Approachable, supportive and motivated to contribute to a cohesive team
