Private Client Senior Associate / Partner – Bristol – Salary up to £120,000

An outstanding firm in Bristol, who place Private Client at the very core of what they do, are seeking a Senior Solicitor in this practice area, either at Senior Associate or Partner level.

This role is directed toward a lawyer operating at a genuinely senior level, with significant experience beyond 8 years’ PQE, and who is ready to step into a leadership position within a market-leading team.

The firm’s Private Client team generated £7.5 million in billings last year and is recognised for delivering outstanding quality work, acting for ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families. This is emphatically not a high-street practice.

The Role:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the continued growth of the department, with responsibilities including:

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of lawyers and junior fee-earners
• Playing an active role in business development, client relationship management, and work winning
• Advising an ultra-HNW client base on complex, high-value Private Client matters
• Gaining exposure to international Private Client work
• Contributing strategically to the future direction of the department and wider firm

The firm place a strong emphasis on allowing senior lawyers to focus on fee-earning and client relationships. Administrative tasks are handled by dedicated secretaries and paralegals.

Ideal Pre-Requisites:

• Senior Associate or Partner-level Private Client solicitor, operating beyond 8 years’ PQE
• Proven track record of leading teams and winning work
• A strong, high-quality professional network within the Bristol market
• Commercially astute, confident, and highly personable
• Committed to delivering exceptional technical and client service standards
