Description

A senior opportunity for an Estates Solicitor looking to progress their career within a supportive and experienced team, advising a strong client base on a varied range of estates matters.

The role would suit a solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE and a strong estates background, ideally gained within a recognised regional or national firm. You’ll have the opportunity to manage your own caseload, work alongside highly skilled colleagues and build strong relationships with clients.

The Role You’ll provide legal advice across a range of estates matters, taking responsibility for your own files and ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and cost-effectively. The role will involve drafting and reviewing legal documentation, conducting research and keeping up to date with relevant legislation, regulations and case law.

You’ll also play an active role in the wider development of the department, including:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Supporting marketing, networking and business development activity.
  • Contributing to articles, legal updates, presentations and thought leadership.
  • Working with colleagues to ensure costs and estimates remain accurate.
  • Managing billing and collection in line with firm procedures.

About You The successful candidate will be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a valid practising certificate and at least 4 years’ PQE, with a strong background in estates work.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Strong technical knowledge of estates legislation and procedure.
  • Excellent analytical, research and communication skills.
  • The ability to manage your own workload and competing priorities.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to work autonomously.
