QED Legal's client is looking to appoint a Neurotrauma Solicitor to join a highly regarded Serious Injury team representing clients who have sustained life-changing brain and spinal cord injuries.
This is an opportunity to work on complex, high-value claims where rehabilitation, long-term client relationships and achieving the very best outcomes sit at the heart of everything the team does.
The position is based remotely for solicitors living within Yorkshire, with occasional travel to the firm's North East office for team meetings and collaboration.
Working alongside experienced specialists, you'll manage your own caseload while supporting on larger, more complex matters, giving you exposure to some of the most challenging and rewarding work in claimant personal injury.
The role will include:
- Managing a caseload of neurotrauma and serious injury claims from pre-litigation through to conclusion.
- Acting on complex brain injury and spinal cord injury matters.
- Investigating liability and quantum on high-value claims.
- Working closely with medical experts, rehabilitation providers and case managers to secure the best outcomes for clients.
- Preparing Schedules of Loss and reviewing expert evidence.
- Representing clients at hearings where appropriate.
- Building relationships with professional referrers and supporting business development activities.
- Delivering an exceptional client experience throughout the life of each claim.
To be considered, you'll ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor with 1-5 years PQE.
- Experience handling claimant personal injury matters, ideally involving serious or catastrophic injury.
- A solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and litigation process.
- Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- Strong client care with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- A collaborative approach and genuine interest in complex neurological injury work.
- Confidence working with medical experts and professional stakeholders.
