A well-established and well-regarded Cheltenham law firm is looking to appoint an experienced Litigator to join its thriving Dispute Resolution team. The firm seeks a commercially astute solicitor with broad experience across matters such as contractual and commercial Disputes, Property Litigation, Professional Negligence, Contentious Probate, and Debt Recovery.

What the Firm Expect:

  • Minimum 3 years’ PQE
  • Demonstrable ability to handle a busy, varied litigation caseload independently
  • Strong grounding in the full litigation lifecycle, including pre-action work, pleadings, disclosure, ADR, and trial preparation
  • Providing strategic advice to a varied client base, including companies, trusts, charities, and private individuals
  • Managing cases from first instruction through to final resolution, shaping litigation strategy and guiding clients at every stage
  • Liaising with and instructing counsel where appropriate
  • Advocating for clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement discussions

What the Firm Offers:

  • Flexible approach to remuneration, with the ability to put together an attractive package for the right individual
Hybrid working (typically three office days and two from home)
  • A clearly mapped progression structure, offering genuine prospects for advancement and leadership
  • The opportunity to work towards equity participation at Partnership level
  • Sensible and manageable billing expectations (around five chargeable hours per day)
  • Robust benefits package including pension contributions, private medical cover, income protection, and death-in-service arrangements

The firm is known for its collegiate, supportive culture, with an environment which is professional yet relaxed, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and well-being.
