We are working with a highly respected UK Top 150 law firm to recruit an ambitious Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Dispute Resolution practice, based in their Alconbury office. This opportunity is open at both Associate and Senior Associate level, offering flexibility to accommodate varied levels of experience and ambition.
With multiple offices strategically positioned across the Midlands and East Anglia, this firm is known for its strong internal culture, collaborative ethos, and delivery of commercially sound advice to a national client base, while maintaining close, long-term relationships with clients.
The Role
This is a broad commercial litigation role, ideal for a lawyer who enjoys varied, high-quality work and wants to be part of a forward-thinking, inclusive team. You will work directly alongside experienced Partners and senior lawyers, with the opportunity to take on early responsibility for client relationships and case strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of commercial disputes
- Assisting on complex, high-value litigation and arbitration cases
- Working with colleagues across offices to deliver a seamless, joined-up service
- Building strong relationships with clients as a trusted advisor, focused on practical, commercial outcomes
- Contributing to business development, marketing, and thought leadership within the disputes team
- Supporting and mentoring junior lawyers as appropriate to your level
About You
We’re keen to speak with litigation lawyers who are passionate about client service and collaborative working.
You will have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ PQE in commercial litigation (more senior candidates welcome)
- A strong track record of independently managing files or leading on aspects of more complex matters
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to tailor legal advice to suit commercial needs
- A team-oriented approach, with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to contribute to wider team success
- An appetite for continued learning and professional development
- Experience or interest in developing a specialism (e.g. procurement disputes, insolvency litigation, professional negligence) is a bonus, but not essential
