QED Legal is working with a highly regarded commercial law firm in Leeds to recruit an experienced Legal PA. I’m Jill, a consultant at QED Legal, and I’m keen to speak with proactive, polished Legal PAs who enjoy supporting senior lawyers in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

This role sits at the heart of a busy commercial team, providing high-quality PA support to partners and fee earners. The focus is on being a trusted, proactive presence—someone who understands how the team operates and can anticipate what’s needed. You’ll play a key part in keeping matters running smoothly, supporting financial performance, and ensuring clients receive an exceptional level of service, without being weighed down by overly repetitive day-to-day tasks.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across finance and business development, helping with billing processes, client reporting, CRM administration and the coordination of events, pitches and tenders. There is also involvement in matter inception, compliance and file management, alongside comprehensive diary management, travel coordination and meeting preparation. The firm places real value on PAs who take ownership, use initiative and are comfortable liaising confidently with partners, clients and internal teams alike.

The ideal candidate will have around three years’ experience as a Legal PA (or equivalent) within a comparable professional services environment. Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and confidence using Microsoft Office are essential, as is a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
