Company Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel – 2 to 6 Years PQE – Basingstoke / Hybrid Working

Our client, a busy and growing company, is seeking a commercially minded Company Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel to join their in-house legal team. This role offers an excellent career progression opportunity within a supportive environment based in Basingstoke with hybrid working available (2-3 days in office).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal support across a broad range of commercial matters, including bids and tenders, customer terms and conditions, procurement contracts, sponsorship, and media agreements
• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts and agreements
• Assist the legal department with a variety of other legal issues as required
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage legal risks and support business objectives
• Deliver clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2 to 6 years PQE, ideally from a reputable law firm background
• Strong experience across various commercial contracts and legal matters
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a proactive, business-focused approach
• Ambitious and driven to develop career and legal expertise
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with flexibility regarding office attendance

Our client welcomes candidates slightly outside the stated PQE range who bring relevant experience and skills for this role.
