Job Title: Legal Administrator (Employment and Dispute Resolution)
Location: Newcastle
Salary: 23,000 – 25,000

About the Role
My clients are currently looking for a dedicated and proactive Legal Administrator to support their Employment and Dispute Resolution departments. This position is based in their Newcastle office and plays a key role in providing high-quality secretarial and administrative support to fee earners.
This is a busy and varied position, with responsibilities including:

  • Opening new client files using the firm’s case management system
  • Carrying out ID verification, anti-money laundering (AML) searches, and media checks
  • Preparing and formatting legal documentation
  • Handling financial tasks such as creating paying-in slips and raising payment requisitions
  • Managing correspondence with clients and other law firms

About You

  • Previous experience in a legal administrative or secretarial role
  • Excellent IT skills, including audio typing
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities
  • Confident communication and client service skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • A proactive approach to managing tasks in a fast-paced environment
