The Firm

An established and growing regional law firm is seeking a Family Solicitor to join its supportive team. This is a firm that values its people, invests in development and offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships while working alongside experienced practitioners.

The Role

• Join a friendly Family team with a focus on private Family Law, particularly divorce and financial matters.
• Manage a varied caseload with supervision and increasing responsibility.
• Advise clients, negotiate settlements and prepare relevant legal documentation.
• Develop your advocacy, negotiation and case-management skills.
• Opportunity to broaden your Family Law experience through exposure to Children and Legal Aid work.
• Work closely with experienced colleagues while developing your own client relationships and professional judgement.
• Full-time role based in Hinckley, with hybrid working available following onboarding.
• Salary of £35,000–£55,000 depending on experience.

You

• NQ–3 years’ PQE with experience or training in private Family Law.
• Ideally some experience in divorce and financial matters.
• Strong communication, organisation and client-care skills.
• Empathetic and professional when dealing with sensitive matters.
• Ambitious, collaborative and keen to develop advocacy and negotiation skills.
• Legal Aid or public law experience is advantageous but not essential.
