The Role
- Working as part of a close-knit, respected employment law team on a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters.
- Handling a varied caseload including:
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- TUPE and redundancy projects
- Unfair dismissal and discrimination issues
- Senior exits and restrictive covenant disputes
- Drafting contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Acting primarily for employers across sectors including SMEs, charities, and larger corporates.
- Involvement in business development activities such as webinars, newsletters, and client updates.
- Managing your own files with appropriate supervision and mentoring from experienced practitioners.
You
- A qualified solicitor with 0–2 years’ PQE in employment law.
- Strong understanding of key employment law principles and confidence in handling client matters.
- Excellent communication and drafting skills, with a focus on clear and commercial advice.
- A proactive, ambitious individual who enjoys working as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen to contribute to the firm’s growth through networking, client development, and thought leadership.
- Above all, you’re enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about building a long-term career in employment law.
