The Role

  • Working as part of a close-knit, respected employment law team on a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • Handling a varied caseload including:
    • Employment Tribunal litigation
    • TUPE and redundancy projects
    • Unfair dismissal and discrimination issues
    • Senior exits and restrictive covenant disputes
    • Drafting contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
    • Acting primarily for employers across sectors including SMEs, charities, and larger corporates.
    • Involvement in business development activities such as webinars, newsletters, and client updates.
    • Managing your own files with appropriate supervision and mentoring from experienced practitioners.

      You

      • A qualified solicitor with 0–2 years’ PQE in employment law.
      • Strong understanding of key employment law principles and confidence in handling client matters.
      • Excellent communication and drafting skills, with a focus on clear and commercial advice.
      • A proactive, ambitious individual who enjoys working as part of a team.
      • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
      • Keen to contribute to the firm’s growth through networking, client development, and thought leadership.
      • Above all, you’re enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and passionate about building a long-term career in employment law.
