I'm working with a leading regional law firm that’s known for delivering excellent legal advice with a genuinely personal touch. With a top-ranked Employment team (Legal 500 & Chambers UK), they’re now looking to bring in an experienced Employment Law Associate or Partner to join their growing office in Reading.
This is a standout opportunity for someone who enjoys high-quality work, values long-term client relationships, and wants to be part of a firm where people really do come first.
The role You’ll be joining a close-knit and supportive team handling a great mix of:
- Contentious and non-contentious work across a broad range of employment matters
- Advising both employers and employees
- Employment Tribunal work
- Drafting contracts, policies and settlement agreements
- Getting involved in business development and mentoring junior team members if you’re at Partner level
The team is very well regarded, and there’s a strong existing client base — but also plenty of scope to shape your own practice and contribute to the continued growth of the team.
What they’re looking for You’ll likely be:
- A qualified solicitor with at least 4 years’ PQE in employment law
- Coming from a recognised firm with solid experience in both contentious and advisory work
- Someone who’s confident, collaborative and commercially minded
- Interested in supporting more junior lawyers and getting involved in the wider life of the firm
