Senior Employment Solicitor – Thames Valley (Hybrid)
Reading-based with occasional travel to other UK offices

A leading UK law firm with a strong presence across multiple offices is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its well-respected and growing team. This role offers a mix of contentious and non-contentious work for both employer and senior-level employee clients, and provides real scope for autonomy and career progression.
The Role:
- Manage a balanced caseload of both claimant and respondent matters
- Work includes day-to-day advisory work, contracts and policies, discrimination, whistleblowing, performance issues, and exits
- Exposure to high-value litigation in the Employment Tribunal and High Court, including complex team moves
- Opportunity to advise senior executives, professionals, and well-known employer brands in sectors such as tech, financial services, and life sciences
- Work collaboratively with lawyers across multiple UK offices in a genuinely supportive environment
- High levels of autonomy, flexibility, and responsibility from day one
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years’ PQE in employment law
- Experience in either claimant or respondent work (or both)
- Strong litigation experience and excellent written communication skills
- Confident managing matters independently and supporting junior team members
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, commercial mindset
