A highly regarded national law firm, ranked in the Top 100 in the UK and recognised by the Legal 500, is looking to appoint an Education Disputes Solicitor to its expanding national practice. About the Role: You'll join a specialist team that provides expert legal support to individuals facing challenges within the education sector. The team is dedicated to ensuring fair treatment, compliance, and justice for students, parents, and academic professionals.

You will advise on a full spectrum of education-related legal matters, including:

  • Student discipline and misconduct (including sexual misconduct)
  • Expulsions, suspensions, and exclusions
  • Unfair grading, plagiarism, and higher education disputes
  • Discrimination, bullying, and harassment claims
  • Education legal advice for parents, including EHCPs
  • Legal support for international students
  • Negligence and school admission issues
  • Complaints to the OIA (Office of the Independent Adjudicator)

About You:

  • Solicitor qualified in England & Wales (2+ PQE preferred, all levels considered)
  • Experience or strong interest in education law from the consumer side
  • Compassionate and articulate, with strong advocacy and communication skills
  • Able to manage sensitive matters with a calm, client-focused approach
