I am currently working with a well-established and growing law firm with offices across the South East, including Brighton, that’s looking for an Associate Solicitor (2-5 PQE) to join their Regional Dispute Resolution team.

About the role You’ll be taking on a varied commercial dispute resolution caseload, which could include:
- Professional negligence
- Banking and finance litigation
- Commercial and contractual disputes
- Shareholder disputes, defamation, judicial review
- Contentious insolvency
You’ll manage your own caseload and fee targets while also supporting and coaching junior team members. There’s real scope to develop your technical expertise, take on responsibility, and contribute to business development initiatives.
What we’re looking for
- 2-5 years PQE in commercial dispute resolution, professional negligence experience is a bonus
- Strong technical knowledge of contractual and tortious principles and remedies
- Commercial and pragmatic approach alongside technical ability
- Experience managing client relationships and providing practical legal advice
- A willingness to contribute to business development and marketing initiatives
- Comfortable supervising and mentoring junior colleagues
