An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Dispute Resolution Solicitor with over 3 years’ PQE to join a highly regarded regional powerhouse with an outstanding reputation across the Thames Valley and beyond.

Its Dispute Resolution team is well established and continues to handle an impressive variety of complex, commercially significant work.

The Role
You will join a sizeable and experienced Dispute Resolution team, working alongside two Partners and an established group of Senior Associates, Associates and supporting fee earners.
The team handles a broad spectrum of commercial and contentious matters, advising clients on a variety of complex disputes while also providing specialist litigation support to other departments across the firm, including Corporate, Commercial and Technology, Employment and Property.

Your work is likely to include a range of:

• Contractual and commercial disputes
• Corporate disputes, including breach of warranty claims, shareholder and partnership disputes and unfair prejudice petitions
• Restrictive covenant disputes
• Technology disputes
• Construction disputes
• Insolvency-related litigation
• Professional negligence claims
• Commercial and property litigation

You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for your own matters, develop client relationships and play an active role in the continued growth and profile of the department.

The Ideal Candidate

• A qualified Solicitor with 3+ years' PQE in Dispute Resolution / Commercial Litigation.
• Experience handling a broad range of commercial litigation matters, with exposure to one or more of the areas outlined above.
• Strong technical knowledge, including an excellent understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules.
• Confident drafting clear, commercially focused advice and handling complex legal issues.
• Able to manage matters independently, with supervision appropriate to experience.
• Commercially minded, with an interest in developing client relationships and contributing to business development.
• A strong team player with excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
