Our financial service client is seeking a skilled and commercially minded Corporate Finance Solicitor to join their in-house legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, providing hands-on support across a broad range of corporate finance transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising the business on a wide range of corporate finance matters including debt and equity financing, structured finance, and regulatory compliance
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating financing agreements, securities documentation, and related corporate contract
- Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders, external advisers, and regulatory bodies to drive business objectives
- Ensuring compliance with evolving financial regulations and managing legal risks associated with transactions
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified solicitor with significant experience in corporate finance, ideally in a financial services or in-house environment
- Strong understanding of financial markets, lending structures, and corporate governance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence business decisions
- Proactive, commercially focused, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Our client envisages that candidates with at least 5 years’ experience plus will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position.
