Conveyancing Assistant – Modern Law Firm, Traditional Values – Oldham
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a well-established, forward-thinking law firm based in Oldham. With a strong local reputation and traditional client-focused values, this growing firm combines modern efficiency with a supportive team culture.
As the firm enters an exciting phase of expansion under the leadership of a highly experienced Head of Department, you’ll be working alongside a friendly and collaborative team of 8, supporting on a broad range of residential conveyancing matters.
The Role:
You’ll work closely with experienced conveyancers and fee earners, providing essential support throughout the lifecycle of residential property transactions. Duties will include:
Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional and timely manner
Preparing and managing legal documents and correspondence
Keeping the case management system and records up to date
Compiling completion packs
Handling completions with minimal supervision
About You:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a conveyancing or property department
Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
A genuine interest in developing your career in residential property law
Excellent attention to detail and confident communication skills
