Conveyancing Assistant – Chesterfield – £24,500 to £28,000

The role
- Supporting fee earners with a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion
- Managing day-to-day file progression using a fully developed case management system
- Liaising with clients regularly by phone and in person — do you enjoy being client-facing and helping people through one of the biggest decisions of their lives?
- Preparing documentation, correspondence and administrative support throughout the transaction process
- Assisting with exchanges, completions and post-completion matters
- Working closely within a small, dedicated team to ensure smooth and efficient case progression
- Maintaining high levels of organisation while juggling multiple files in a busy environment
You
- Previous hands-on experience within residential conveyancing is essential
- Comfortable working both independently and under supervision
- Strong organisational, administrative and IT skills, including MS Office
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional manner
- Reliable, efficient and motivated, with pride in delivering a job well done
- Enthusiastic, confident and proactive in your approach to work
- CLC or CILEx qualification (or ongoing study) is beneficial but not essential
- Experience using conveyancing case management systems is advantageous
