Description

We’re working with a highly regarded, progressive law firm that’s well known for its outstanding work with private clients and rural estates. They’re looking for a proactive and driven Conveyancing Assistant who is keen to build their expertise in a specialist and rewarding area of law.
If you have a solid grounding in residential conveyancing and are eager to develop your knowledge, this role offers real scope for growth in a supportive and high-quality legal team.

Key Responsibilities:
This is a varied and client-focused position supporting senior lawyers on a broad range of property matters, including:

  • Assisting with residential sales and purchases (freehold and leasehold)
  • Managing land registration applications (registered and unregistered titles)
  • Supporting with gifts of property and transfers of beneficial interest
  • Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and associated legal forms
  • Assisting with updates to legal title due to death, trustee changes, or property transfers
  • Identifying where Trust Registration Service submissions are required
  • Handling title amendments, severances of joint tenancy, and address updates

What We’re Looking For:
We don’t expect you to be an expert in everything on day one, but you should bring enthusiasm, accuracy, and a willingness to learn.

  • Previous experience in residential conveyancing (freehold and/or leasehold)
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • A proactive mindset and genuine interest in private client or rural property work

What’s in it for you:

  • Work alongside experts in a respected and friendly team
  • Develop your skills in a unique, specialist area with full support
  • Gain exposure to interesting and meaningful legal matters
  • Join a firm that values quality service and long-term client relationships

Interested?
If you’re looking for more than just a standard conveyancing role and want to join a firm where you can truly grow, we’d love to hear from you. Contact us today for a full job brief and a confidential conversation.
