Description

An established and growing commercial property team is looking to appoint a Commercial Property Solicitor.

This is a great opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys a varied caseload, direct client contact and working in a busy, commercially focused environment. You’ll work closely with clients, agents, buyers and investors, helping to deliver a smooth and professional service from instruction through to completion.

The Role You’ll handle a broad range of commercial property matters, including:

  • Managing transactions from instruction through to completion.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, leases, options and other property documents.
  • Acting for a range of landlords and occupiers.
  • Liaising with clients, agents and other parties to keep transactions progressing.
  • Advising clients and keeping them informed on progress and costs.
  • Working alongside colleagues across the wider firm, including the corporate team.
  • Supporting business development and networking opportunities.

The team deals with all aspects of commercial property, including acquisitions and disposals, lease assignments, landlord and tenant work and refinancing of property portfolios.

About You A qualified solicitor with at least one year’s commercial property experience, although newly qualified solicitors with relevant experience will also be considered.

You’ll be commercially astute, client-focused and well organised, with strong communication and IT skills. You should be comfortable managing deadlines, working under pressure and contributing positively to a collaborative team.
