Description
Commercial Property Solicitor | Grimsby | NQ–4 Years PQE | Hybrid Working & Excellent Progression
Are you a Commercial Property Solicitor looking for broad exposure, good-quality work and the opportunity to develop alongside experienced property lawyers?
Would you like to join a growing regional firm with a strong reputation for both the quality of its legal work and the environment it provides its employees?
The Firm
QED Legal is working with a large, award-winning regional law firm looking to strengthen its Commercial Property offering in Grimsby.
Employing approximately 400 people across a substantial regional office network, the firm has grown considerably while retaining a strong focus on staff development, wellbeing and progression. It has been recognised nationally as one of the UK's best places to work and has a number of practices recognised by The Legal 500.
The firm also receives very positive employee feedback, particularly around its supportive culture, development opportunities and work-life balance.
Its established Commercial Property practice acts for a broad client base including businesses, developers, investors, landlords, tenants and landowners, with experience acting for significant regional and national clients.
The team includes highly experienced senior Commercial Property lawyers, giving someone at NQ–4 PQE level the opportunity to work closely with people who have considerable experience in the market rather than being left to develop in isolation.
The Role
You will join an experienced Commercial Property team handling a genuinely broad range of transactional property work, including:
- Commercial property acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Commercial leases
- Property development
- Secured lending and refinancing
- Option and promotion agreements
- Overage arrangements
- Conditional and unconditional contracts
- Property portfolio work
- Development and landowner agreements
- Joint ventures
- Property-related infrastructure agreements
Depending on your experience, you will manage your own matters with appropriate supervision while also gaining exposure to larger and more complex transactions alongside senior members of the team.
There will be plenty of direct client contact, including attending meetings, taking instructions, drafting and reviewing documentation and liaising with agents, lenders and other parties throughout transactions.
For someone at the earlier stages of their career, this offers a particularly good balance: the opportunity to develop your own caseload and client relationships while still having experienced Commercial Property lawyers around you for support and development.
