Description
Commercial Property Solicitor | Established Client Base | Career Growth | Bristol
This is an opportunity to step into a role where you can take ownership from day one. This long-established Bristol law firm has been part of the city’s legal landscape for over 50 years, building a reputation for trusted, straightforward advice and a strong track record of client loyalty.
The Commercial Property department is one of the firm’s flagship practice areas, with a long-standing and loyal client base that includes SMEs, developers, landlords, tenants, and investors across England and Wales. They’re known for delivering commercially sound, pragmatic advice that gets deals done efficiently, and they enjoy a steady stream of repeat instructions thanks to the strength of their relationships. For you, this means stepping into an established, high-quality caseload with the freedom to grow and shape your practice without starting from scratch.
Work will be varied and stimulating - from acquisitions, disposals, and leases to development projects, refinancing, and portfolio management. The team regularly handles transactions with significant value and complexity, and you’ll have the autonomy to run your files your way while being supported by colleagues who share knowledge freely and work as a tight-knit unit.
You’ll need a minimum of 5 years’ PQE in commercial property, strong technical ability, and the confidence to advise on complex matters. Networking and relationship-building skills are just as important.
The culture is one of the biggest selling points: friendly, approachable, and refreshingly free from corporate red tape. You’ll find a team that genuinely enjoys working together, where a good sense of humour is welcomed. There’s also a clear commitment to career progression, so if you’re ambitious, you’ll have the scope to develop your role further.
This is a great move if you want high-quality work, a supportive team, and the platform to build your profile in a leading Bristol firm with a reputation for getting results.
